we'll start off with one of the most bizarre fish i've ever seen ;p you might think you're looking at his eyes for one, (the things right above his mouth) but those are in fact a sort of nostrils ;)
his transparant head contains his eyes
and yes this fish really does exist ) it's not a photoshop job
for more info about this fish go ---->here<----
and next a compilation of various birds of paradise, awesome birds as always

that last is from a absolutely awesome Series called Planet earth, i'm trying to get a hold of the blu ray but haven't found it yet in belgium (
Fresh new topic!
As some may know and others will know now, I am absolutely beyond fascinated bout wildlife, it being giant mammals or smallest of bugs :) and i thought bout posting fascinating bizarre animals that i find around on tv/internet for you to enjoy/discover
i'll start with some stuff i found today :)
I already knew the Dipsidae, but today i watched a show and saw something I was quite surprised bout! Apparantly when they are born the males start to push air to their heads to change the shape of their heads, can't find a clip about them doing this though
:( if i find i'll update it, but hey here are the flies anyhow! ( the one with the biggest uhm.. stalk wins and gets to mate with the females;) boys will be boys xd )
next, never saw this one before but! it's really cool, heck very inspirational creature actually ^^ makes you feel a lot closer to prehistoric times doesn't it!
